Radom Beachball 2018 podsumował wakacje!

W samym centrum miasta – na boiskach przy fontannach przy ul. Żeromskiego odbyła się pierwsza odsłona Radom Beachball. Tegoroczny turniej stanowił pilotaż przed przyszłorocznymi imprezami, które mają odbywać się w całym kraju.

Fani plażówki mieli możliwość przez trzy dni obserwować zmagania siatkarzy i siatkarek. Nie zabrakło utytułowanych graczy, z Danielem Plińskim na czele. Fani dyscypliny mogli także podziwiać w akcji siatkarzy Cerradu Czarni i ELeclerc Radomki.

W turnieju mixtów wzięło udział 18 par. Wygrał duet Magdalena Wanat-Nikiel i Piotr Filipowicz. Kolejne lokaty zajęli Zuzanna Kucińska / Daniel Pliński, Magdalena Koper / Maciej Łabędź i Aleksandra Karmel / Bartosz Lewicki.

Piotr Filipowicz zwyciężył również w rywalizacji mężczyzn (open). Tu wystąpił w parze z Pawłem Jedynakiem. Drugą lokatę zajęli Daniel Pliński i Dominik Witczak, trzecią Jakub Michalski i Maciej Łabędź oraz Sylwester Janek i Michał Koryciński.

W gronie oldbojów 100+ najlepsi byli Robert Bąk i Tomasz Klocek, w młodszej kategorii 80+ Krzysztof Gałecki i Grzegorz Łakomy.
